Rx Carprovet (Carprofen) Flavored Tablets for Dogs

Carprovet Flavored Tablets provide effective, veterinarian-prescribed relief for pain and inflammation in dogs. Designed for dogs with osteoarthritis and for postoperative pain management following soft tissue or orthopedic surgeries, Carprovet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of the propionic acid class, related to ibuprofen, naproxen, and ketoprofen. Each flavored tablet is easy to administer orally and intended for dogs only.

Directions:

Always provide the Client Information Sheet with the prescription. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with your dog’s response. The recommended dose is 2 mg/lb (4.4 mg/kg) daily, given as a single dose or divided into two doses of 1 mg/lb (2.2 mg/kg). For postoperative pain, administer approximately 2 hours before the procedure.
