Rx MilbeGuard™ Beef Flavored Tablets

MilbeGuard is a broad-spectrum parasiticide designed to protect your pet from harmful parasites. These once-a-month flavored tablets prevent heartworm disease, control adult hookworm infection, and remove and control adult roundworms and whipworms in dogs and puppies four weeks of age or older and weighing at least two pounds. For cats and kittens (excluding whipworm protection), MilbeGuard is suitable for those six weeks of age or older and weighing at least 1.5 pounds.

Cautions/Warnings: Keep out of reach of children and animals. Do not use in puppies under four weeks of age or weighing less than two pounds. Prior to starting MilbeGuard treatment, dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infections. Infected dogs must be treated to eliminate adult heartworms and microfilariae before using MilbeGuard. Some treated dogs with a high number of circulating microfilariae may experience mild, transient hypersensitivity reactions, such as labored breathing, vomiting, salivation, and lethargy, due to proteins released by dead or dying microfilariae. Do not use in kittens under six weeks of age or weighing less than 1.5 pounds. Safety in heartworm-positive cats, as well as in breeding, pregnant, and lactating queens or breeding toms, has not been established.
