Heparin Sodium injection is used to prevent blood clots from forming in dogs, cats and horses with a variety of conditions or who are undergoing certain medical procedures that may increase the chance that the clots will form. It is also used to stop the growth of clots that have already formed in the blood vessels. Non-DEHP and not made with natural rubber latex. Not for lock flush. For intravenous or subcutaneous use.
