Bio-Mycin 200 is a broad-spectrum antibiotic injection formulated with oxytetracycline and a Select Carrier to reduce tissue irritation and discomfort. This ready-to-use sterile solution delivers rapid and sustained blood levels to effectively treat bacterial infections in cattle and swine.

Indications:

For cattle: Pneumonia, shipping fever complex, pinkeye, foot rot, diphtheria, leptospirosis, wound infections, acute metritis, and wooden tongue caused by oxytetracycline-susceptible organisms.

For swine: Bacterial enteritis, pneumonia, leptospirosis, and infectious enteritis in suckling pigs caused by oxytetracycline-susceptible organisms.

Directions:

Administer 9 mg of Bio-Mycin 200 per pound of body weight via intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. Follow your veterinarian’s guidance for repeated doses as needed. Avoid exceeding 10 mL per injection site in adult cattle. Observe recommended withdrawal periods: 28 days for slaughter and 96 hours for milk.

Inactive Ingredients: Magnesium oxide 1.7% w/v, Sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate 0.5% w/v, Polyethylene glycol 400 30% w/v, Monoethanolamine to adjust pH, Water for injection USP qs.

Important Safety Information:

  • Do not use in veal calves.
  • Keep out of reach of children and animals.
  • Observe all recommended withdrawal times to prevent antibiotic residues.
  • Adverse reactions may include injection site swelling, restlessness, tremors, respiratory distress, or anaphylaxis. Discontinue use and consult a veterinarian if reactions occur.
  • Use only as directed by a licensed veterinarian.
