Create your own hygienic waterer from your desired water source. Looks like a tiny livestock water bowl, but for chickens.
Drinker cups provide fresh water to your flock, and is easier to drink from than nipple drinkers. Ā The cup automatically fills as birds drink and the and the spring-loaded tab is bumped. Cups are designed for use with a low-pressure water source only, such as a gravity-fed system. Ā
To install, drill a 3/8" hole in water source and screw in cup. Provide one cup per 5 chickens.
Features:
- create using a plastic container or PVC pipe
- nipple stem releases water only when chickens drink
- one cup accommodates up to five chickens
- chickens will typically train themselves to use in minutes
- supports both side and bottom mounting
Use a gravity flow system. Do not connect to a pressure water supply!
