KMR 2nd Step Kitten Weaning Food is a creamy, easy-to-digest transitional formula designed to support kittens aged 4–8 weeks as they progress from nursing to solid foods. Perfect for orphaned or bottle-fed kittens, this nutrient-rich powder closely follows mother’s milk in protein, fat, and energy while including added DHA to support optimal visual and cognitive development.

Directions:

  • Mixing: Whisk or shake 1 part powdered KMR 2nd Step into 2 parts warm water. Do not mix more than can be consumed in 24 hours. Do not use a blender.
  • Feeding: Introduce kittens that are standing and lapping from a bowl (4–5 weeks). Feed 4 times per day until kittens are ready to transition to solid food (7–8 weeks). Adjust quantity as needed for optimal growth. Provide fresh water at all times. Consult your veterinarian for additional guidance.
