The Jeffers® Extra Ice Pack is designed to help maintain the ideal temperature for your vaccines during transit, ensuring they remain effective upon arrival. Ideal for longer trips or hotter climates, this extra ice pack provides added cooling protection when standard packaging might not be sufficient.

Shipping Recommendations:

While coolers are available for order (foam - #Z1XP or soft-side - #XZS1), biologicals will otherwise be sent in a padded envelope with one ice pack—suitable for most short trips in moderate weather conditions.

Given our location in South Alabama, where summers are long and hot, we recommend opting for expedited shipping (Next Day or 2 Day Air) for vaccine orders that require more than a 1-2 day transit time. During the summer months:

• For orders with a transit time of more than 1 day, a cooler is recommended.
• For orders with a transit time of more than 2 days, a cooler with an extra ice pack is strongly advised.
